In-Home Euthanasia Please note that the fee for euthanasia does not include care for your pet’s body (body care fees are listed below under Cremation).

Cremation
If Dr. Ivey takes your pet’s body, she will arrange cremation with Heaven’s Gate Pet Memorial Center. Dr. Ivey is not able to arrange cremation for pets weighing over 100 lb.

    Communal Cremation. Your pet will be cremated with other loved pets, and the ashes will be respectfully scattered. Please note that the fee for cremation does not include the fee for euthanasia (see above).

    Private Cremation. Your pet will be cremated separately from other pets. Your pet’s ashes will be ready in 1-2 weeks and will be returned to you in a wooden urn with your choice of a brass metal name plate or your pet’s name engraved directly on the wood. You can pick up your pet's ashes at Heaven’s Gate Pet Memorial Center in Wheatland, or the ashes can be shipped to your home by USPS overnight ashes delivery service ($40). If you choose shipping, a signature is REQUIRED at the time of delivery and you will be called to chose the delivery date.
